¡Un cordial y afectuoso saludo a esta gran comunidad de Hive Open Mic! En la semana 303, con la temática "Children", quiero compartirles una canción que para mí es muy especial. Soy docente de música, y por 16 años fui maestro de preescolar, y tuve el reto y la gracia de crear una coral. Dicha coral se llamaba: "Las Espiguitas del Maestro Prieto Figueroa", en honor al docente y político venezolano.
La composición pertenece a Alejandro Lerner, cantautor y pianista argentino. Esta canción se ha convertido en un himno que nos motiva a cuidar el corazón de los niños, y nos ha proporcionado mucha satisfacción tanto a la institución como a mi como profesor de música.
Con la coral, la cantábamos en ritmo de vals venezolano. En esta versión que les comparto, al no poseer un cuatro, una versión en guitarra en 4/4. Espero sea de su agrado, y de corazón, que les encante tanto como a mí. Un abrazo enorme.

A warm and affectionate greeting to this great Hive Open Mic community! In week 303, with the theme “Children,” I want to share a song that is very special to me. I am a music teacher, and for 16 years I was a preschool teacher, and I had the challenge and privilege of creating a choir. The choir was called “Las Espiguitas del Maestro Prieto Figueroa,” in honor of the Venezuelan teacher and politician.
The composition belongs to Alejandro Lerner, an Argentine singer-songwriter and pianist. This song has become an anthem that motivates us to care for the hearts of children, and it has brought great satisfaction to both the institution and me as a music teacher.
With the choir, we sang it in Venezuelan waltz rhythm. In this version that I am sharing with you, as I do not have a cuatro, it is a guitar version in 4/4 time. I hope you like it, and from the bottom of my heart, I hope you love it as much as I do. A big hug.
