¡Hola, familia de #Hive! Un cálido abrazo para todos en este clima invernal con el que ha comenzado febrero. Hoy vengo con muchísima emoción para participar en la semana 303 de Hive Open Mic. El tema de esta nueva edición es "The Children", así que elegí hacer un cover muy especial para mí, de la canción "Sueños" del talentoso cantautor cubano, Luis Franco.
Esta canción me tocó el corazón desde la primera vez que la escuché, porque habla precisamente de la infancia, literalmente mi infancia. O la de muchos, que, como mi generación, fuimos de esos niños que no tuvieron grandes regalos, ni fiestas lujosas, pero que sí tuvieron algo más valioso: sueños.
Esos sueños que nos impulsaron a seguir adelante, en los momentos más difíciles, en donde soñar era libertad. El mensaje de esta canción es poderoso, nos hace reflexionar sobre esos niños que, aunque crecieron en medio de limitaciones materiales, tuvieron la capacidad de soñar, pero soñar en grande.
Esta canción, sin lugar a dudas, es un homenaje a todos esos niños del mundo, especialmente a nuestro niño interior, que supo soñar y construir su futuro, impulsado por la fuerza de sus ilusiones. Mi infancia está reflejada en esta canción: pocos juguetes, pero bastante creatividad, jugando con lo que había. Quizás no hubo fiestas grandes, pero sí bastantes momentos de sonrisas, con amigos y la familia.

This song is undoubtedly a tribute to all those children around the world, especially our inner child, who knew how to dream and build their future, driven by the power of their hopes and dreams. My childhood is reflected in this song: few toys, but plenty of creativity, playing with what we had. Maybe there weren't any big parties, but there were plenty of moments of smiles, with friends and family.
