Colleagues, it's great to be back! Blessings to you all this new and chilly week if you're feeling like me. Today I drew a new card for the game. I was inspired by a microphone, the R583 DWD Momentum. It's a microphone with gray and green colors that make it look very nice, even modern. It's wireless, as you can see, since it doesn't have the back part to connect the cable, but rather the traditional antenna we're familiar with.
I tried to capture all these details in my drawing. You already saw a preview on the post's cover, but now I'm going to show you in detail how I did the whole drawing from beginning to end. That will be more fun than just seeing the final result on the cover. Okay, I started by drawing the inner frame of the card.
After that frame, I moved on to drawing the microphone's central handle, which is where you hold it and where it attaches to the tripod or stand. It's a basic detail, but it's good to mention it so you know what I'm drawing and what it's used for. Following that, I drew the top part where you speak, to capture the sound.
In the following details, I drew the internal divisions to separate the microphone into parts, since each one will have a different color. And I drew the area for the wireless antenna on the bottom.
Now we move on to painting. As you can see, I used a color palette exactly like the original. I really liked how it turned out. You'll see the whole process in the following screenshots.
