Those are some really nice gifts you got! And some great memories attached. I assure you, hang on to those pens, and those memories will never be lost. Am quite surprised a 19-year-old is gifting a pen. I would've thought these days the pen is like a tape recorder to youngsters.

That was around 8 years ago, and I did write quite a lot with a pen back then and he saw me doing so. These days, you might be right, there's not much left of that. For me, it's still quicker than opening the app in the cellphone, selecting the right note, and writing (and I do type really fast). And I remember it better if I write it down on paper. Wires.

Same here. I usually have pen and paper with me to scribble down the tasks I need to handle for my office job. Old style, Old fashion.
