My setup:
Camera: We currently use EMEET PIXY PTZ 4K cameras. They are awesome and the best of the current offerings. That might change next month, the technology is evolving quickly but when we bought them a few months ago as we updated our equipment for audio studio work, those were the best and we tried several of the “web cams”. Microphone and headphones: If you get into audio production, and we’ll talk more about that equipment in Audio Video Skills, Class 105. I am using a Maono CLR Mic on a swing boom. It’s incredible. The headphones I use are Rumoon wired studio monitoring headphones. If you aren’t familiar with those names, don’t be surprised. They are well known within the audio video industry.
In my podcast studio, I also use a MacBook Air, three LED studio lights, and the software I use is Wondershare Filmora, although I would not begin using it if I started now. I would use Riverside. Because I book my podcasts using a google appointment calendar, and I record them using Google Meets in an administrators account (for recording) I also use G Drive to store my productions, as Mac Laptops have very limited storage space. I also use a Western Digital 5 terabyte external hard drive and a commonly available hub to attach peripherals to the laptop.
