Honestly, life can change everything for us even despite how we prepare for it. Living in such house is not always comfortable because everyday there will always be a fight or one thing and the other and to use toilet it's turn by turn which is not easy at all. I can understand your dream about how you want to change everything for your parents. I pray one day your dream will come to pass.
